About
Join me on my journey to understand emerging technologies, take them apart, highlight potential ethical & safety implications and identify solutions for responsible use.
What matters to me
To effectively leverage the power of AI, we need to understand its inner workings, strengths, and limitations. This knowledge enables informed decision-making and the development of reliable, transparent AI systems.
To contribute to this understanding, I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Data Science and AI. I am currently taking the prerequisite courses in mathematics, statistics, and computer science to build a solid foundation.
I also plan to work towards a Ph.D. in the field to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of AI and to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of responsible AI development.
I’m interested in exploring how AI and emerging technologies can transform work, increase productivity, and drive data-driven decisions.
I enjoy trying out all kinds of new tools myself, observing others in the process, and sharing my experiences and insights on my blog. By documenting my real-world experiences and observations, I hope to provide helpful insights to others who are also curious about the practical applications of AI and emerging technologies in everyday work environments. My current focus is on tools in education.
While the benefits can be significant, we need to recognize and address potential difficulties such as ethical concerns, bias, hallucinations, and privacy issues.
In the future, I plan to explore these concerns in more detail in my blog. I will explore the current challenges, developments, and potential solutions in the field of AI and emerging technologies. By sharing my insights, I hope to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the responsible development and use of these technologies.
As we embrace AI and emerging technologies, we must also prioritize transparency, accountability, and fairness in their development and deployment. Establishing clear guidelines, promoting ethical practices, and raising user awareness are essential.
This is why I moved into academia in 2024. I want to make sure that in the next 5-10-15 years there will still be enough people who understand AI and new technologies and, most importantly, can explain them to others in a simple and understandable way. Only by having a deep understanding of these technologies can we truly be aware of their advantages and disadvantages.
Through my work in academia, I want to contribute to the responsible development and implementation of AI and emerging technologies. Through research, teaching, and public discourse, I hope to foster a better understanding of these technologies among both professionals and the general public. It is crucial that we cultivate a society that is well informed about the implications of AI and can actively participate in shaping its future development and application.
